Fund Transfer

On 14th May 2010 11 sub-funds within the CS Equity Fund (Lux) will transfer into 9 sub-funds within Aberdeen Global.

The Board of Credit Suisse Equity Fund Management Company, the management company of Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) has decided to transfer the assets and liabilities of eleven sub-funds of Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) into sub-funds of Aberdeen Global. The sub-funds are transferring into existing funds with the exception of the Aberdeen Global - Asian Property Share Fund which does not currently have shares in issue. Shares in this sub-fund will be issued as a result of the transfer of assets and liabilities of the Credit Suisse sub-fund.

If you are a unitholder in a discontinuing sub-fund please refer to the unitholder letter for full details regarding the transfer.

AG Shareholders should note that there will be a suspension in dealing in the affected sub-funds on 14/17 May to allow the transfer to take place; please refer to the AG Shareholder letter for full details.

For your info - there will be a suspension in subscriptions in the CS funds from 30 April. Unitholders will be able to redeem their holdings until 10 May. Then there will be a dealing suspension in AG on the 14th and 17th when the transfer takes place. 18th May will be first effective pricing date of the ongoing funds.
